a self distortion

Through an extensive process of creating a self portrait and then taking it and destroying it, a creative new outcome was able to be made. This technique helped me understand how to connect pieces of an image so they read coherently but can also exist on their own. Playing with textures and layers is something that has helped me in 2D media and incorporating that into graphic design.
